Sunny Swappers

A really short character-swapping puzzle platformer where inactive characters become objects and platforms!

Sun uses keyboard controls and can grab and throw nearby objects, while Moon uses mouse controls and can drag floating platforms to new locations.

Try to clear each level in as few days as possible!

Controls:

Q: Swap characters/time

Sun controls:

A D: move

Space: Jump

Shift: Grab/throw

Moon controls:

Mouse1(Left click): move towards mouse

Hold Mouse2(Right click)/Shift + drag mouse: Grab/move object

V1.0 made in 48 hours for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam with the theme "Roles Reversed."

NOTE: The third level "Ballin'" is bugged and can't be completed by conventional means. If you can't seem to beat it, it's not just you! I messed up! It's technically possible to beat, but I don't recommend trying this; consider the second level the final one instead. Sorry to cut things short!

(8/21/24 update): Over a year later, I'm working on an update to fix that level and maybe add more levels/mechanics as well! Depends on how well I can navigate the spaghetti code from when I worked on it mid-jam. it's rough i'll tell ya that
